English Breakfast Bunny or Bunny Chow apparently did not originate from UK. It is said Bunny Chow originates in the 1940's where migrant Indian workers' ingenious way of packing their lunch. They would hollow out their bread and use it as a 'container' for the curries, I guess it was a lot less messy since plastic was still an expensive alternative then. Some years later 'Bunny Chow' reach the UK and different varieties started to appear.
